For 7 months we have had the virus on the Amazon border of Colombia, Brazil and Peru. Only on the Colombian side, where there are 68 indigenous peoples, there are more than a thousand cases and 45 deaths among the indigenous population. The pandemic has not only killed many people with knowledge of these cultures, it has also increased the vulnerabilities of this population and made visible the structural problems that generate them. I will talk about how we have faced this crisis in Leticia, one of the Amazonian municipalities most affected by the pandemic.
