Charles graduated from the U in 2013 with a BS in International Studies with an emphasis in Global Health and a BS in Biology. Since graduation, Charles has traveled to Mongolia and completed a year of coursework in the Master of Public Health program at Johns Hopkins. Read more >>

Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) scholarship applications are now open!

These scholarships are for students studying foreign languages and area studies. If you study any of these languages, then you should apply!

FLAS pays part of your tuition as well as a generous stipend. FLAS can be used for summer study abroad programs, semester study abroad programs, and study at the University of Utah. If you study an Asian or Middle Eastern language, check out the Asia Center’s page. If you study a Latin American language, check out the Center for Latin American Studies webpage. Applications are due on Friday, January 30th, 2015.

January 12: Classes begin

January 19: Last day to add without permission code

January 21: Last day to drop classes

January 26: Last day to add, elect CR/NC, or audit classes

March 6: Last day to withdraw from classes
